We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and results-driven Global Head of Paid Performance Marketing:
  • Build a world-class digital customer acquisition engine to profitably scale our customer base in core global markets: UK, Germany, Netherlands, Australia
  • Take full ownership of the online paid channel mix, budget, campaign execution, optimisation, and ROAS growth
  • Plan and execute a rapid in-housing plan to transition from our digital marketing agency, expand our team of top-tier performance marketers and drive fast, profitable growth
  • Play a key part in aggressively scaling our high-growth ecommerce travel business to the next level


Paid Digital Media Strategy
  • Own the full-funnel paid marketing strategy across digital channels
  • Focus on critical SEA scaling and optimisation for increased ROAS, then re-expand into other paid channels
  • Drive flawless execution of all lead acquisition, lead nurturing and brand awareness campaigns to meet KPIs
  • Use multi-touch attribution to track touch-points across the funnel and maximize campaign effectiveness
Continuous Test and Learn Approach
  • Identify new channels, trends, platforms, tools and systems to improve performance
  • Develop hypotheses and perform A/B (or multivariate) testing to recommend optimisations
  • Analyse and scale what works - and have the confidence to cut what doesn’t
Forecasting & Budget Management
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to set acquisition, conversion, and pipeline goals via paid online channels
  • Continuously analyse/optimise digital marketing spend and recommend changes
  • Grow Return on Ad Spend to efficiently scale new customers in each regional market
Performance Management
  • Set and track growth metrics and quarterly OKRs for the Performance Marketing team
  • Detailed reporting and data analysis for maximum visibility into performance vs targets, efficiency, ROAS
  • Identify pain-points and pragmatically improve upon non-performing areas
  • Earn stakeholder confidence quickly and exert positive influence
  • Form strong partnerships with Operations, Finance, and Technology for a consistent Go-To-Market approach
  • Drive regular exchange of insights and learnings across the team
Team Management
  • Attract, retain and grow a high-performing team – be an exceptional leader that elevates others around them


  • You are an outstanding Paid Performance Marketing leader with a minimum 8+ years in global B2C online acquisition
  • You have proven success building a best-in-class performance marketing engine with budgets in excess of €4m.
  • You are data-driven with strong quantitative and analytical skills – you think in terms of LTV, ROAS, impact on EBITDA
  • You have a deep understanding of the online user journey, conversion funnel, sales cycle, and product lifecycle and their respective impacts on the Marketing organisation to drive demand and revenue
  • You are an expert in paid search (SEA) with strong experience in display, retargeting, paid social, affiliates, online partners
  • You have demonstrable hands-on experience with Google Ads, Bing, Facebook/Instagram, YouTube, and various retargeting and affiliate platforms
  • You are an super-user of website analytics [e.g. Google Analytics) and customer experience testing tools
  • You are versatile communicator across diverse global stakeholders, including at the executive level
  • You are a confident leader that can build, nurture and grow a remote-based team
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Fluent in English + German, additional languages are a plus
